Pink House Motel, Goodland

Rustic but very clean accomodations with a full kitchen and living/dining area on the water. The manager was pleasant and friendly and efficient! Goodland is so much fun and the bars and restaurants were all in walking distance. Lots to do and very low key, unspoiled area to enjoy! We can't wait to return next year!

Some friends and I stayed there a couple years back. We liked every thing except the lady that ran it. She is a rude, mean, drunk with an attitude. Don't know if she is still there or not but she is what kept me from ever going back!

lady who runs the place is disrespectful and not accomodating. Also, property is very dirty and had bugs. Would not stay here again.

half cheap, half clean but nice location on water. walking distance to the bars! good sized...nice for a canoe or kayak stay before or after a 10k islands trip. nice alternative to the former mar-good resort. very comfy.

I am a connoisseur of kitchenette type places coast to coast and this one is at the bottom of my list of favs. The manager was ill tempered ("If you don't clean up after yourself you will find an extra little charge on your credit card.") and the room had dirty floors, greasy feeling bedspreads, and threadbare towels. The towels were a cause of some humor since a sign warned not to use the towels and wash clothes as rags, which all of them absolutely were. I would not consider a return to this place, or recommend it to anyone else.

Great people, ideal location. A little old, but very clean. Located in an old Florida fishing village. This place use to be a major city for the Calusa indians 2,000 years ago. Every hole they dig turns up artifacts. I found a museum quality shell ax at a power company hole in the ground. Great restaurants, safe community.
