Anchor Inn Motel, Marathon

We've been here twice and will keep coming back when in the Keys....close to shopping, public transportation to the keys, food, etc.

We stayed a week and couldn't have been more pleased. John and Kathy are the perfect hosts seeing to it that our every need was met. The room was extremely clean and spacious with parking right out our front door and we really enjoyed having the large patio right outside the back kitchen door. This place is conveiniently located to everything, easy to get in and out and even though it is right on US1 it is very quiet. Our pets enjoyed their stay also and taking them out for their regular walks was very easy as there is a side street with little to no traffic. Our kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed with very nice accessories for cooking and dining. This is the best value we have ever found in the Florida Keys. We needed a place to stay for the night. The staff was friendly, the rooms were so clean and the price was right! Now we've as a family, stayed at a lot of hotels but i 've never stayed at one that was so clean and it just felt like you were at home. and dont even get me started on the staff, they were so nice and helpful and we could ask them were things were at around the area and good places to eat and they gave you a good answer and you could tell they werent just employees they were locals.

Me and a buddy of mine needed a place to shower and catch a few ZZZZ's On saturday day. We were fishing the bridges in the keys all weekend, and the staff was helpful!! Will be staying there again, matter fact Just made reservations for Oct 31st and Nov 1st :)

i loved this cute little motel. extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. They told us the places to go for shopping and places to eat etc. I would def go back there. I just went for a couple days with my friends and we stopped here on the way to key west. I would go back there in a heartbeat! The best part was.. it was affordable and it really didnt feel like a motel it felt like home!. theres a bbq patio out back and a hammock!

I was so impressed with this place, you'd never think it was a motel. The place was very clean, had a private patio in the back, a hammock right outside the front along with a grill and a view a the ocean to wake up to!! The pricing was VERY reasonable and the service freindly.

Very clean extremely friendly people, top notch location for fishing. Accomodated my entire group of 20 for weekend last year. Attracts faithful regulars. Cooking facilities. Local restauraunts great, good brakfast place nearby. Grills out back. Fridge in room.
