Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat, Leavenworth

This is the kind of place where you can park your car and never have to get back in - everything you want is right on sight - great food, quiet walks, incredible natural looking hot tub - sauna, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing in winter, hiking, biking in summer. The Fall colors are incredible. There is glass work by Chilhuly located around the grounds and in the buildings. There is often music in the Chapel. The cabins sleep four - they are elegantly rustic - blending right in with the surrounding forest and mountains and wetlands. It's called sleeping lady becuase of the shape of the mountain on the other side of icicle creek. For those who want to venture out - downhill skiing is up the road and a "Bavarian" town is 5 minutes away. They also have retreat facilities for business and families Very relaxing, best food ever, stars out at night!
