Not really a "restoration"
The term "restoration" implies that something is being restored to what it originally was, which is not the case here. That's neither good or bad, but if one is wanting to see historical buildings, this is a poor choice. The original stone building for the spa now contains hot tubs, but the owners have the nerve to charge almost $10 just to be able to look around. Thanks--I can see hot tubs for free in any hot tub store. The hotel is being turned into a money-making enterprise for a family--which is not a bad thing but that makes the $10 also ludicrous. For $10, you get to see the daughter's salon-to-be, some rooms that have been decorated by the highest bidder (some are truly tasteless commercials), and hear about the family's religion.
