Spokane Creek Resort, Keystone

Very nice campground. Just be sure to follow their directions and not your GPS. This is especially true if you come in from Keystone. GPS takes you on very winding road through 3 tunnels with restricted height requirements. Also when it said I was there, I wasn't even close.

From the moment my wife, and I arrived, we where happy with what we had decided on. The campsite was clean, and the staff freindly. We asked if we could move our original site, and they quickly changed it free of charge. We brought our dogs along for our trip to Mt. Rushmore, and they are not the best dogs around other campers or pets. Remarkably they where at ease, partly due to our reaction to the campgrounds. the staff frequently drove the grounds with a freindly wave while passing, allowing us to feel welcome. It was a beutifull location , with a short walk to showers, grill, pool, and even a miniature golf course, for there customers enjoyment. By the pool there is even a sink to do your dishes after your meal. They had a great selection, of resonably priced souveniers at the lodge. I would recommend this campground to any freind that is looking for a one night, to many night reasonalby priced stay near the Keystone, Mt. Rushmore, Crazyhorse area.

My husband and I recently stayed at Spokane Creek campground and had a wonderful time. Our site was backed up to the creek and it was so relaxing to listen to it while you fall asleep at night. The bathrooms were pretty clean and they have washers/dryers in them. The office/general store was nice to have in case you run out of something (aspirin/milk etc). They also have a little cafe there if you want to eat in there, or on the covered patio. They even have a gas pump so you don't have to go clear into town to fill up! That was great! It was a very quiet, peaceful campground and the employees there were very friendly and helpful. It's right around the corner from Custer State Park....and not far from Needles Hwy....it's nice to already be up in the mountains and not have to drive through Keystone to get there. I would definately recommend this campground to anyone and we plan on staying there on our next trip to the Black Hills!"

I came out here when i was a little girl i was about 5 and i loved it. i am now 18 and i still love coming out here with my parents. I love falling asleep with the sound of the creek in the background it is so relaxing. They have a great playground for the kids. They have a great minature golf course. Overall i think this is the best place you could bring your family and not have to worry about anything. The owneres of Spokane creek are really nice and make sure your stay is well worth it.

This was my first camping experience at a traditional camp resort and I was extremely pleased. It was wonderful to go to sleep with the gurgling sound of a small steam 10ft from my tent. Everyone was friendly and the guests kept quiet time (10:30pm to 7am) quiet. I would absolutely stay there again if we ever have the chance.

We stayed at Spokane Creek with 3 young children and it was perfect! The cabin had a double bed and pullout sofa bed. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the cabin really was. The fridge and stove top worked and served our purposes well. The best part was the playground just outside cabin #6 and #7. We could sit on our deck and watch the kids play. The pool was super clean and new. The mini golf was free and the kids could go alone, we could see them from the cabin. There is a small creek where they hunted for frogs and built a dam. The kids hiked up the mountain and collected all sorts of rocks. This place was perfect for us!!! It was close to everything, nothing we wanted to do was farther than an hour drive. Best of all the owners and workers were very friendly and became friends over the week. I would highly recommend this place if you're traveling to the Black Hills!

We took our 5 kids to South Dakota and stayed at Spokane Creek. The Cabin was a camping cabin, nothing was dirty. We are used to tent camping so this was a step up from the norm. There is a pool, free putt-putt golf and a big hill out back to hike up. You'll love the drive down Iron Mountain Road. I was at least 15* cooler at the campground than it was in Keystone or at any of the local attractions. Will return some day as there is to much to see in a week.

We loved the area and the location to keystone,it is easy to locate and very easy to travel into custer state park. I my self have been to Spokane camp ground over 20 times and have never had a problem!!!! The best part of it all is the owners and two very special people that help out during the summer( j&d) Cant wait till we get back!!! "Ricky&Lucy" from the dirty side of the country !
