Club Getaway, Kent

So I have been a guest up at Club Getaway for the past two seasons. I always enjoyed myself hence my frequent return rate. But, it was not until this past season when i attended the August Classic weekend that i ended up meeting my now fiance! Yes, thats right i said it fiance!!!! :) Club Getaway helped expose me to the kind of people a succesful New Yorker like myself wanted to be surrounded by. Taking yourself out of the concrete jungle and allowing yourself to be imersed into nature and simply relax, is what it was really was all about for me. Now everyone has their own reasons for loving Club Getaway but that was one of mine. I obviously now have two! My fiance and I are hoping to marry in June of 2013 and yes you guessed it looking to marry at Club Getaway.I hope this review has helped at least one person decide to take a chance on Club Getaway! It is well worth the 90 minutes outside of NYC!!

What an awesome experience i had at Club Getaway! My future brother in law decided to have his bachelor party up there last July. I must say I had my suspicions when I first starting reading reviews. Never the less, this was to be my brother in law so I flew up from Miami and joined the group. I ended up having such a great weekend, and bonding with my now brother in law. it was the perfect setting for us, since we are all very active. Yet still enjoy to drink and get our party on in the evening! I decided to write this review to let people know not to listen to the bad reviews! We could not have asked for a better place to enjoy our weekend! Who needs Vegas when you can go right outside New York City and get a little bit of everything!

I went last summer and had a very good time. I was very impressed with the experience that they offer. I will definetely be returning.

I went last August by myself and had a great time! I had a relaxing, yet adventurous vacation and made lots of new friends. I was very impressed with the wonderful fascility that they have as well as the experience that they offer.

Club Getaway had all the makings of camp... bonfire, smores, friends, cabins, adventure. But this time it is for the adults with drinking games, dancing, karoake, classes and and wine tasting. I am a single gal, and I really enjoyed getting back to the sleep-away camp experience that I had as a kid but this time in the comfort of a cabin with double beds and air conditioning. If you went to camp as a kid... you will find that there is really something special about going to Club Getaway.

I was really surprised by how much Club Getaway had to offer. They really do a great job at providing a very nice weekend escape. I had a great time and plan to go back!

Club Getaway throws the best Memorial Day Weekend Party! I go every year and I love it... It is like no other experience and really allows you to free yourself from all the stress of the city. One piece of advice is that the weekend always sells out, so make sure to book your weekend early!

I went to Club Getaway for the first time in 2009. I really enjoyed what they had to offer. Club Getaway is beautifully set in the Berkshire Mountains with their own private lake and a great fascility. The camp had so much to offer, I couldn't believe it anything from trying the trapeze to rockclimbing, hiking and biking, water skiing, wake boarding and yoga. It is such a nice escape to be in the middle of New England and trying all sorts of new activities, while making lots of new friends, and dancing all night long. The cabins are nice rustic cabins, but not exactly what I expected. I figured that they would have the traditional bunk cabins, that are a bit too hot, and a bit too full. But I was pleasantly suprised to discover that they don't have bunks, but nice double beds with fresh linens and air conditioning and heating. The food was also a great suprise, they provide tons of options and absolutely dilectible food. I have a couple food allegeries that makes eating out difficult for me, and they were great at accomodating any concerns that I had. Overall I would highly recommend Club Getaway as a wonderful and affordable vacation.

I just went for the Fall Finale at Club Getaway and I had the best time. Fall in New England is spectacular.. the leaves are changing colors and countryside is gorgeous. I really enjoyed trying out all of the activities.. the Jets Vs. Giants coed game was great... I got to meet some past Jets & Giants pros... I also really enjoyed archery... and zumba. At night the whole camp/activities/scenery image changed completely into a crazy amazing party... dinner went straight into a live band and drinks which then kicked off a Halloween Party in their boathouse club on the lake. The party in the boathouse was over the top... they had this outrageous set up, everyone was dressed up and dancing like crazy, I had the best time ever. Then the next day I woke up and went to their breakfast buffett which had tons of lovely pastries, a made to order omelette station and homemade pancakes and waffles everything I needed to start my day off! I can't wait to go back next season I am going to book Memorial Day as soon as possible as I hear it sells up very quick!

So, I just came back from Club Getaway for their Fall Finale weekend and did not want it to end!! It was my first time up and i was not sure what to expect, but i was pleasantly surprised to say the least. It is camp for adults, with alot better accommodations then what we were used to when we were kids! Gone are the days of sharing bathrooms with ten other kids and bunks! The staff had smiles on their faces from check in to check out, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The fact that there was soooo much to pick and choose from is what really got me! My favorite part of the weekend had to be the insane costume party and haunted house on Saturday night! At the end of the day Getaway was an amazing experience that i can not wait to replicate next season!!!
