Ocean Grove Lodge, Trinidad

It was HORRIBLE! It smelt like wet mold and dog. It was really little, in the bath room you couldn't even turn around in it. It was a really bad experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It was not clean at all. After we were there for a couple hours I wanted a different room but they tried to charge us an extra 22 dollars a night to switch to a non smoking room. We ended up getting a non smoking room the next day for no extra money cause it was we complained. I would NEVER go there AGAIN!!! Really people it's that bad.......

The cottage we stayed in was beyond terrible. I don't think I've stayed at a place so icky in the U.S. I'm surprised the health dept. hasn't closed it down!! Maybe some cottages are nice but ours was not. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

we were desperate by the time we got here at 11 at night. Everywhere else was either full or closed. the proprietors were not too happy that we woke em up to get a cabin, but the bar was open, although empty but for a very scarey bloke from Idaho. The cabin was situated amid huge trees, with slightly worrying carvings ! all in all a great place to stay.
