Sandcastle Resort, Myrtle Beach

Just got back and had to write. Our family stayed for 5 nights and had no problems whatsoever. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Housekeeping was great. Traveled with 4 kids and they took the time to arrange our stuffed animals who traveled with us everytime they made the beds. Cleanest rooms we've encountered in a beach hotel. Not only was there adequate parking but not having to cross the street ruled. Our only complaint was after 6 showers at a time, we tended to set off the smoke alarm in the room if we left the bathroom door open. That was no doubt due to the great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We never had to cut showers short or rush the kids and always had hot water. Location was far enough away to be out of traffic but close enough to get anywhere ( murrels inlet to barefoot landing) in around 20-25 minutes. We had a great time and the kids are already looking forward to next year.

This was a nice, pleasant, friendly resort. Not too fancy, but they have everything you need for a fun vacation. Ocean front, outside pool for when its sunny, poolside bar, indoor pool for when it rains. Lazy river wasn't huge, but it was nice to be able to use it whatever the weather was like because it is inside. Restaurant on site and onsite parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and everything was in good condition. Not an extravegant place, but a nice, relaxing, family friendly, down to earth, pleasant resort. And also not overpriced. We can't wait to go back this year! We already have our reservations! We look forward to going back for many years to come. Thanks again Sandcastle.

the rooms were bright and very clean.we had a great ocean view.we paid only 39 a night so i went not expecting much but left amazed!!!it is pretty on the inside and out.my family and i had a great time in the pool to.they have in and out.the staff were very nice.i have a 2 year old daughter whom they all took the time to talk to also the people at the front desk were very fun we joked around.the room was kept cleaner while we were there than some of the pricier hotels we have stayed at.i will go back soon!!!

the walls are ugly the toliets has flys inside it. there are thousands of biack people they come knocking on doors at midnight my opion is not to go there again.

The staff is truly the best part of this wonderful resort. It's not the largest by no means but has everything you would want for a fair price and a nice clean room. One great thing is the onsite parking. Has 2 good size outdoor pools and 1 indoor. Has 2 outside hot tubs and the breeze blowing thru the breeze way is terrific with a great view of the ocean. Has a nice but not extra large lazy river and yes mostly inside but you can see the ocean and it makes it kind of nice to cool off while still viewing the ocean. Some of the rooms are newly renivated and a working on the rest. Great for families and older couples. Been there 4 times and lookin forward to goin back in Sept. Again the staff especially Mrs. Mary is wonderful . Had a great stay!

The price was right, parking was excellent, maids were curtious and the rooms were clean. I was there 2 times in 2006 and enjoyed every day.
