Rock Lake Resort, Fort Myers

This was our third stay and the longest as we sold our home in Ft Myers and needed a temp place . Stayed in the cabins, very quiet, clean and with everything we needed. Reminded us of the keys but in the heart of the city. Staff IS GREAT... Thank you girls for everything!!!! Miss mama turtle!!! We will be back..... We found it a great place to stay and relax!!!!!!!

This place is not a resort. Maybe back in its day it was good. No towels for pool. Took 5-10 minutes for water to get hot for shower. Place needs to be remodeled, old. Stay Away!!!!!

This is a very restful place to stay. The management was very kind and responsive to a minor problem we had. Rock Lake Resort is well located and you feel safe there. I cannot wait to come back!

Love it .Love it Everything was nice encluding the people who work there . Rooms was nice and big enough for our family needs. Pool was great that was like a bonus to us we did not mind walking over to it but if u stay in the cottages the pool is right there. We will be back again to Ft Myers and that will be our choice of resort to stay at so i hope all the remodeling around the place adds more beauty to the resort and it look like they was doing some updateing their self . We stayed at the Rock Lake Resort in March 2007 for 11 nights. The place is very cute and quaint. There are little cottages around a circle pond. There are 2 cottages per unit. Each unit has french doors that open into a covered porch overlooking the pond. There are dolphin fountains all along the pond. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Pool was very clean and nice and there were tennis courts. There was a ping pong table and laundry room also. Our room was very very clean. The place is older but is very well kept up. There was a lot of construction right around the hotel but noise was not a problem at all. I always felt very safe. We had a dorm size refrigator, stove top, microwave, coffee maker, toaster in the room. The room was equipped with pots, pans, silverware, dishes, bowls, glasses, anything you would ever want. They provided dish soap and paper towels also. Maids were very nice and helpful. Towels were nice and thick. The bed was very comfty with pillowtop mattress. Floors were tile and were spotless. Full closet, good tv with lots of channels to choose from. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definetly stay there again and recommend it highly. Very unique and quaint place to stay.
