Inn on Early Ave, Chicago

We've stayed in many B&B's. This one has been the best & friendliest. Very accommodating. Great pets. Convenient location. Innkeeper from NY has great sense of humor. Will recommend to my friends.

Could not lock bedroom doors which was an issue for us. Additionally, patio furniture looked very dirty and needed to be power washed. We were not informed beds would not be made daily by B&B, expectation each day was to have beds made. B&B overall needs to have paint job and would have been good to know balance of payment was due upon arrival.

Very friendly & accommodating. We came to Chicago for a special event and staying here made us feel like we had a total Chicago experience. Loved the double Jacuzzi. Very convenient location to beach, public transportation & restaurants. We will be back and have recommended the Inn On Early to our friends & family.

We did not stay here, but 3 hours after making a reservation, upon discovering that the "furry friends" referred to on their website were cats and a dog that shed hairs, to which I'm highly allergic, I tried to cancel our reservation, we are being charged a $75 processesing fee "in the spirit of good business" instead of taking 50% . I've operated a B&B myself and find this attitude shocking and will be challenging it with my credit card company.
