Oasis Guest House, Key West

I just stayed there last weekend- we first had a room in Oasis where I stayed 11 years prior- well nothing was changed over there since! The place was for sure moldy and musty- and there were dust bunnies under the bed bigger than my dogs! The nice guy at the desk changed us to a better room across the street at Coral Tree on the third floor with a nice deck and view of the small pool area- It is very quite at Coral Tree- the staff was nice- and the rooms were cleaner over here- and no moldy, musty smells this place is no thrills- for our $139 summer rate I guess it was worth it- they do have a small breakfast spread with cereals and bagels etc.. every morning- and then a cocktail hour in the evening (did not attend this during my three night stay) The location is in the middle of everything about a six to eight blick walk to the Gay clubs- and four blocks from Duval. To be honest I would have paid an extra hundred more a night for a cleaner and nicer place.
