Cozy and Clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/09
Stayed overnite with the family, just a one night get away. We've used this hotel before. The room was very clean, double beds, quiet. Best advice, ask for upper level rooms. There is a thru way there and can get noisy during the evening. Not bad for $83.00 and free continental breakfast. The staff was very pleasant, family owned appears.

Rooms in this Hotel are not worth even $60
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/08
The room with double bed really stinked, it was nasty, carpet was nasty, and the bathroom was the worse. Looked like they just did the bed and didnt bother cleaning the room before giving it to us.

Bring earplugs and a can of Raid!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/07
Room was a great disappointment for the $90. Dirty and cramped (queen bed took up 40% of the room). Staff are robotic and speak little English. Biggest complaint: location is awful! Dodgy area, difficult to find, poor signage for highways (removed by gangsters?) Main floor rooms are 20 feet from an EXTREMELY busy highway filled with a steady flow of transport trucks 24/7. Was up at 4:15am for good to the loud bang of 28-wheelers whipping by at 55 mph slamming over one of the many potholes outside the hotel, and that was with earplugs!

Good Value - worked for us!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/06
The location is a little off the beaten track, but the restaurant next door made this a great place to stay. The hill up the rooms is steep, but there are stairs. The complimentary breakfast was good and adequate. The $5 shuttle into Times Square was a great value compared to the taxis and this service is good. We stayed at this HJ on Dec. 6-9, 2006 and would go back again.

Best value in the area
By David H, 11/08/06
While the other ratings seem bad, I got a room for 3 days and was actually surprised at how good it was. The only thing is you have to walk a half mile to the park and ride to get the bus into NYC. The room was the best value in the area and I have stayed at a few. I will also say that it is pretty quiet there and that I needed. Watch out for the high priced cabs and get a price before get in and it won't be cheap. I won't do that again!

HORRID!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/02/06
Do not stay here!! The staff don't speak english! The rooms are up a steep hill-not told on-line, and my dad had just had his knee replaced! Mould on indows and walls! Loo seat, hanging on by a thread-shower 'tap' hanging on too! No room for rollaway-staff stood by while WE had to rearrange the furniture to fit it in-set off my sciatica! No bed clothes for the rollaway-which was made of metal, with a mattress that didn't fit, so everytime my son rolled over he hit the base, as did we as we walked around the bed (or tried to!!),online said it had a shuttle into NY, but when we arrived at lunchtime, we had missed the 'last' one, and we found out the ealiest you could return was 8pm-far too late for a 3 year old! Staff just told us to get a cab, which would cost us $40-$50 EACH WAY!! I could go on, but I won't scare you!! AVOID THIS PLACE

Terrible Dirty and Smell
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/06
I needed a place to stay in the last minute and I booked through internet. I would rather stay in a shared bath hotel in New York for the same price than stay at this place. I cannot believe that the hotel still has high occupancy eventhough the place is basically a dump. It is very dirty and the bedroom smells really strong almost like someone urinating on the carpet that never gets cleaned.
