Absolutely Amazing!
By Chris, 11/7/12
The Inn on Biltmore Estate is absolutely amazing! We parked out front, went in and were greeted almost immediately by the clerk at the front desk. She was extremely nice (almost annoyingly so honestly) and helpful. The inn was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Top notch decor, music playing, service, clean, on and on and on. We had a large room with a king bed, pillow top mattress, down comforter and pillows, amazing bathroom and an outstanding view! We were on the 5th floor and had a breathtaking view of the mountains for a crazy beautiful sunrise the next morning. My only complaint is the price. $350 for a single night for a 12 month pass holder discounted price. For some odd reason, the 12 month pass holder price (which the 12 month pass holder gives you unlimited access to the estate, house, etc for the 12 months) included 2 tickets to the house. What's the point in that?

Deceptive Website Pricing
By Charlie M, 9/7/10
We thought about going there while we were in the area. The website described rates starting at $199/night for the dates we wanted. HOWEVER, once we looked, they pricing started at $800+. Ridiculous, particularly because of the website. They are deceptive and this should be investigated!

We lived like the Vanderbilts for a weekend
By Doug, 7/22/10
Best hotel we've ever stayed in! The Inn on Biltmore Estate is where you get first-class treatment and get a taste of how the Vanderbilts would have traveled, but you do pay for it. We called a couple of times on the road and let them know we were on the way and wouldn't get there until 10 or 11 at night just to make sure our room wasn't sold to someone else, which I guess you should do with any hotel. Once you're there, you don't need to drive anywhere because the shuttle will take you to the house and the winery, but if you prefer to drive yourself you won't have to worry about DUI checkpoints when you're coming back from dinner, since you're on private property. The valet parked my car and I didn't pick it up again until I checked out 3 days later—and he left chilled bottled water for us in the cupholders for the ride home! When we missed the shuttle from the Biltmore House to the inn, a staff member took us to the inn in his pickup truck so that we could be at our spa appointment on time! You don't get that kind of service elsewhere. Our couples massage at the spa was great but a little overpriced in my opinion compared to other spas I've been to. You don't have to leave the property if you're willing to pay for meals in the various restaurants. The breakfast buffet is bountiful and the servers are attentive. The hotel bar is only open until midnight but has a decent late night menu if you're peckish. We had the finest (and most expensive) dinner of our lives in the main dining room with an excellent server. I'd recommend the bistro near the winery as a more affordable eatery with excellent food. Our room was attractive, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Basically, nothing went wrong during our stay, thanks to the hotel's superb management and high standards. I could easily stay there for a week and not get tired of it, if I could afford it!

Ashville should be proud
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/13/10
Visited the estate. Loved everything about it. Will return. Not only was the estate a great experience, the local Hampton Inn (which was recommended by the Biltmore) was terrific. Not everyone can affort to stay at the property hotel. The Ashville Welcome Center hooked us up with a deal on our hotel and then routed us to AAA for discount tix's to the Mansion. The town it total hospitality and wants tourism to flourish not only at the Biltmore but in the surrounding business establishments. I live near Niagara Falls and can tell you tourism is not living there! The folks of Ashville do their town proud. The Biltmore is total first class from the mansion to the stables (gift shops) to the Winery and even in winter the view was spectacular. If you are traveling anywhere within driving or flying distance don't miss this place. A+++++++++++++++

Absolutely wonderful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/10
My husband and I arrived at 5 o'clock at the visitors center. We knew we wanted to see Biltmore, but we had no other info. The gal behind the desk gave us a deal we couldn't refuse and therefore, we arrived at the Inn. From the minute we drove up, we had the "top" service. The room was great; we had dinner at the Bistro and breakfast the next morning at the Inn. We spent the entire day at the mansion and winery. We are sorry we couldn't spend more time. It was an unforgettable experience. Thanks!

Very nice - Had great time - BUT Expensive
By Elaine, 3/25/10
Everything was great, from the service to the room, amenities, and views. However, to eat there is EXTREMELY expensive. $55+ for breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child!!! Could have ate at Shoney's or Denny's for much less. Best to eat your meals at one of the local restaurants. The quality of the food (and we ate at several restaurants -at the Inn and on the Estate) does not justify the price. In the Inn's Library Dining area, a child's hamburger and 2 sandwiches with tea were $47!! Ridiculous. The Inn itself is quite pricey for the rooms too. Only way I can ever afford to go again is to win another trip. We won this one and were very appreciative of the opportunity. Wished we were able to stay another day though. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Will never return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/08
At our arrival to the Inn, we had little time to check in and then get to the Biltmore House before it closed for the evening. My daughter and I wanted to see the house. My wife and son wanted to settle down at the Inn. All I needed to do was check in, leave them, and go. I parked near, not in front of, entrance, whereas an attendant quickly walked out and informed me I could not park there, furthermore he needed my keys and he would park my car. I explained I would be there a minute -sorry you'll have to move your car. I noticed a few cars out further,I moved there.Another attendant ran out- sorry, you can't park there-I'll only be here a second-you'll have to park in the parking lot.-but?-you can't park there,it's a fire hazard-I don't think the fire hoses would even reach from here-sorry sir, you'll have to move. Having already dropped the family and the luggage at the entrance I parked in the lower parking lot and walked back up to the entrance(nice little walk if you've got the time). By this time the family had checked in and entered the room. The desk clerk was busy.I asked the conceirge if she could help.Name?Wife"s name? Drivers license?-sure.no.wait.sorry it went with my wife, she needed the paperwork,etc.-sorry,no I can't tell you what room your in.It would be against our policy.Sorry. Is it against their policy to maybe come up with another helpful solution. I can think of 3 easy solutions that would solve the problem without endangering innocent people from crazed serial killers, terrorists or rabbid raccoons. I waited 30 mins.in the lobby(very nice place to hangout) for my wife to start missing me and come down and reunite me with my family. We could'nt stay another day so we missed the house. It wasn't the end of the world.I've been coming to Biltmore twice a year since '93 . My wife and I have enjoyed staying at the nicest hotels.Sea Island. Las Vegas.Europe,etc.I can't understand why Biltmore Inn would work so hard on all the details and not get the easy stuff right.

We shall return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/17/07
My husband and I spent the first weekend in September at the Inn while attending various wedding activities on the estate. We and our close friends were next door to each other in lovely rooms with spectacular views. We especially enjoyed sitting on the veranda each evening and reheashing the events of the day. The service was impeccable and the surroundings sumptious and comfortable. Many delights abounded such as the art work, the flowers, the gardens, and the polite and attentive staff. My only complaint was the bed rocked everytime my husband moved. All in all, a wonderful experience which we hope to repeat in the near future.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/14/07
my husband and i spent the past week end at the inn. it was our first visit and by no means our last. from the time we drove up until we left we received wonderful service by the staff. the room was very nice. the bathroom large. the beds soooo!! Comfortable. the food was excellent from breakfast to the barbecue at river bend. the view from the long porch where we sat in rockers and enjoyed drinks was wonderful. just the most relaxing place. went to two great outdoor concerts at the biltmore house. the inn provided shuttles which was very nice. i would recommend the inn at biltmore estate to anyone.
