Venice Beach Suites & Hotel is located ON the world famous Venice Beach Boardwalk in the Heart of Venice Beach, California, with sand by our front steps and warm sun and refreshing sea breeze practically every day of the year. We have free street parking and paid lot parking. There are incredible restaurants, shops, neighborhoods and community resources within walking distance of our hotel including the Santa Monica Pier, the Venice Canals, Abbot Kinney Blvd., the facilities of Muscle Beach, the world class Venice Beach Skate Park and the artisans, performers and vendors of the Venice Beach Boardwalk. When making a reservation please provide your cell phone number and email address so we may contact you for arrival instructions due to our unique location. Credit card charged at time of booking; 2 night deposit or full payment, whichever is less. Cancellation policy is 100% refund of deposit if canceled 3 days or more prior to arrival. Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am. Our office is open daily from 9am to 9pm. If you plan to arrive after 9pm, please contact us in advance for Late Arrival Instructions.

THANKS TO THE STAFF . I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME . AND THANKS FOR HELPING ME GET MY TOUR SET UP PROPERLY. YOU ALL WERE WONDERFUL !!! and the location is great right on the beach. if your main concern is being on the beach this is a place to consider.. small hotel but the commendations are OK.

We didn't dislike anything about this place. Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed the open and comfortable feel of this hotel. The owner Andy was very personable and funny, he made both of us laugh quite a bit. Our room was very clean and beautifully taken care of, with space for all our things. All the way around, a wonderful place to stay with perfect location and many benefits included for a really good price. Love this place and if you are thinking of going to visit Venice, we most definitely recommend staying here! Thank you, Andy and staff for making us feel quite safe and at home!

This was our second visit and we were as pleased this time as we were the first. In fact, we stayed in the same room. The staff was cordial and accommodating. We put the kitchenette to good use. The room was large enough to accommodate a rollout bed and crib so all four members of our family could sleep in the same space. We actually enjoy the location of the hotel, because it puts us both on the beach and near relatives, the very things we're looking for. As I look at some of the reviews, I wonder if people are visiting Venice Beach without really knowing where they're going. The boardwalk area hasn't changed in decades. How anyone could be surprised by what they see is surprising in itself, really. We live in a large city, so there's very little Venice could throw at us that we haven't seen already. As for the hotel, we usually stay in much more expensive places, but when we visit California we go for the weather, the beaches and the ocean. Venice Beach Suites and Hotel fits perfectly with the lifestyle we want to have on these vacations. We were safe and comfortable and could not have been happier.

Terrible neighbourhoud

The neighbourhoud is during the day full of strange people, it looks artistic, but when the daytrippers go home and it's getting dark you will find only weirdo's on the street: full of people with drugsproblems. Early in the morning the same problem. The staff close the door at nine and go home, leaving the hotel alone till nine o'clock in the morning! The last night a tramp succeeded to get in the hotel and was sleeping in the hall on the ground!! The staff were really helpfull and kind, but the hotel is too old, there is no cleaning service. 170 dollars a night (during the weekend even higher!) is extreme high for what you get!

"A Hidden Gem"

This little hotel tucked into the "middle" of the boardwalk of Venice Beach is a hidden gem in a truly amazing area. Literally surrounded by shopping, restaurants, bar, bike paths and a most amazing beach. It has all you need for a wonderful beachside getaway. Teri the manager went above & beyond...assisting us with airport transfers, recommending restaurants, bars and bicycle rentals and even mapping out a walking tour of Venice. The oceanfront rooms are well worth it...you will see the most amazing sunsets!! The rooms are equipped with all you will need and the bottle of wine...such a well appreciated touch!! I hope to return for another stay at this "Hidden Gem"!!

The location is the best. I am a woman and was by myself. I felt completely safe morning - noon and night. My room had all the comforts of home plus more. There is so much to do and see. The staff was friendly - helpful and accomodating. I will definately go back. Quaint and "funky" in a good way.

This was one of the best rooms ever. Airy, open , picture perfect views. The staff performed above and beyond the call. I love the people watching that Venice Beach offers, and there is no better view than the fourth floor, ocean front....

THE ONLY WORDS I HAVE TO DESCRIBE ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC HOTEL IS SIMPLY AWFUL!!!!! I MEAN SERVICE POOR CLEANING SIMPLY TERRIBLE AND WELL I WOULD NOT GO BACK THERE IF IT WAS THE LAST HOTEL ON EARTH!!!!! MY SUGGESTION JUST GO THERE AND SEE FOR YOUR SELF.. AND I PROMISE YOU BAD THINGS SHALL HAPPEN.THAT IS MY REPORT!!! tHE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic Location

The staff was very accomidating and friendly! The room was clean and comfortable. The location was wonderful. Anyone who has visited Venice Beach knows it's not a place to be strolling around late at night and the parking is always a challenge. It's a great place to stay to enjoy the beach and the day time entertainment.
