Loved this wonderful boutique hotel!
By Cathryn, 4/4/09
The decor in the room was awesome--huge & wonderful California King bed with tons of pillows. This was the most comfortable bed I've even slept in at a hotel! Bathroom was luxurious with 1/2-round shower curtain rod & a shelf to hold your towels right in the shower. Evening wine reception and morning coffee were complimentary in the lobby. We can't wait to go back--my favorite place ever!

Very special place
By hulagirl, 7/19/07
I just got back from my stay. The hotel was a pleasant surpirse. The location was great one for my trip. My room looked out over the canal and park. Beautiful room, great service. The hotel is pet friendly. However, if I had not seen a few dogs, I would have never known they were in the hotel. Either well behaved pets, or the hotel handles it very well. No noise, smell or anything. Will not hesitate to return there. Only complaint, could not hook up our own playstation. Otherwise the place is great.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/11/07
Hotel Marlowe looks cool and it is!! You will not a find a more courteous, helpful, cheerful and simply friendly staff anywhere!! Great location - connected to the Galleria Mall with countless shopping choices, Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, etc.... Just a short walk to the Subway and 10 minutes from Logan. Free WiFi, a plus!!

Can't wait to go back
By Ellyn M, 5/2/06
We were so impressed with the Hotel. The service was impeccable, and the rooms beautifully decorated and so very clean. Very well worth the money to say the least. We had previously read a few on-line reviews and they both mentioned that the concierge and other staff were not friendly. Could not be further from the truth. THE STAFF WERE LOVELY, and I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Pits
By Jonathan, 11/1/05
Terrible location, pretentious decor and attitude, ridiculously high prices. Two small glasses of ordinary wine in the bar came to $30, with undeserved tip. Ripoff city. I'd rather sleep on a park bench.

Hotel Marlowe - Cambridge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/24/05
Hotel is very comfortable, well maintained, and furnishings of very good quality. Issues: Rooms are 2 DOUBLE beds or Kings. Why wasn't this hotel designed with 2 Queen beds is beyond me. High-speed internet access was VERY slow on downloads, general surfing was more than adequate. Motor access to the Hotel is limited because of divided highway. Lechmere T stop construction results in Bus shuttle to access transit system (be careful of changes to location of shuttle stops). Mitigated by hotel-provided shuttle until 9:45 am to area locations. Low water pressure-stayed on top floor. Water pressure was low and shower not very forceful Overall, very good experience, would recommend and stay there again. Rate on Hotwire was exceptional in regard to class, location, and general features. Of course, it was March (a.k.a winter), so tourist traffic was relatively light.

Hotel Marlowe
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/04
Athough we were only able to stay one night due to travel plans, this hotel was super comfortable, accommodating, and fun. The room decor is a fun funky leopard print with down comforters and all aveda products. There was a complimentary wine tasting in the lobby in the evening and gourmet coffee in the morning along with a complimentary new paper. I would highly reccommend this hotel or any other kimpton property.
