Hiawatha Motor Inn, Eagle River

The owners Scott and Keilah are very nice people and very accommodating. The room was very cozy and the view of Duke Lake was beautiful. Very North Woodsy...near good dinning whether fine or fast food. Need to travel a bit for sight seeing but it's worth it. My only complaint is my cell phone wouldn't work in the room and I couldn't get into the WIFI connection unless I went into the lobby or left the door open. :(

Its easily summarized. Simply the best, I’m a snowmobiler and have been going there since 2004..You’ll see hotels with empty parking lots until you arrive there. What does that tell you!

This older looking lodge is actually recently remodeled and really kept clean! We snuck away for some R&R in the off season. The owners made us feel like family. Called places to see if they were open and had great suggestions for places to go. Would reccommend for paece and quiet in the off season. Probably good in season too as it is waterfront. Only bad part was no pool.

Al & Dawn (the owners)make you feel so confortable its like going to stay with your grandparents, except they are more fun and "much younger". How many Inn keepers wait up for you when your traveling in poor weather conditions and greet you at 11:45 pm when they have to be out at the front desk at 6:30 am? If you are into power sports..so is AL... fishing,snowmobiling, motorcycling...ect...Plus us snowmobilers and our families have always been treated like gold They're simply the best...better then all the rest.

they are very nice to every one there.They willdo anything to help while you are there. this is a great place if you are a hunter because you are about 12 miles away from public hunting. the room are right out side from your car. and you do not have to walk up and down stairs with your stuff. Just get out of your car and walk in your room.
