North Country Inn and Suites, Mandan

This hotel was great. The owner was very nice and always very polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. I stay in hotels 200 nights a year, and I can tell you this place is one of the best ones. Keep up the great work!

Needed a place to stay while my father was in the hospital. My mom was staying with relatives in Mandan, so choices were slim. Was very happy with the North Country Inn. The room was very clean and spacious. The owner was extremely friendly, asked me twice about how my father was doing. We ended up checking out a day early and he didn't charge us for the third night. If you need a place to stay in Mandan, I would recommend it.

I was stranded in Mandan for a week, waiting for parts to fix my vehicle on a cross country trip. The North Country Inn was close, and the owner/manager went out of his way to help me - was most gracious, in fact. As another reviewer noted, the Trains run night and day, but after a couple days, I got used to them. The room was clean and while not elegant, was comfortable. The rates were very reasonable. I would stay there again if I happened to be in Mandan.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the family we were visiting. Talk about filthy absolutely disgusting.We requested non smoking room, it was anything but that. Was to have a free continental breakfast what a joke dried up donuts and a glass of orange juice. The room had not been vacumed in who knows how long and after we arrived the owner tried to charge 10.oo dollars more each nite for the 12 year old., after he quoted a price with confirmation number. i guess you get what you pay for never again.

Rates were so reasonable, very clean, love the non-smoking room I had, hospitality was very freindly and acomadating. It is right on Main Street but worth it! This will be my home away from home when I come out to visit from now on! Don't tell anyone, otherwise I won't be able to get a room!

I stayed here with my wife and kids for 1 night. The owner had first told me that he gave my room to somone else, then said oh here is your room. When I went in it smelled horrible of smoke, none of the floors were clean either. Only one light worked in the room and the TV made a constant noise. When there is no where to go but here.......your better off sleeping in your car. Almost forgot to mention the train that wakes you throughout the night.

My family stayed here because it was within walking distance to the Moose Club where they were attending a wedding reception. What a mistake!!! The service was beyond awful and the hotel manager was very rude and hard to understand. This place is very over priced for MANDAN, ND.
