Patricia Lake Campground, Minocqua

This place is the definition of relaxation to me. Always quiet and everyone is very nice. The sites are properly sized and shaded for the most part. The lake offers some really good fishing especially if you can get off the shoreline. Facilities are clean and offer what you need for camping. The staff has always been very nice when we have gone over the years. But my personal favorite is sitting by the fire at dusk and listening to the loon wail out on the lake! Every time I hear it I get chills and it completely takes the stress away. If you are in the area this is the place to go!

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet, clean showers, nice owners. Lake good for swimming and fishing. Great value, we would stay here again.

We came to Minocqua for the first time on Labor Day for a weeks vacation. We fell in love with the campground and the area. Joy and David are great hosts and very friendly.The campground is well kept and due to the enforcement of rules, is a safe and quiet place to stay. We enjoyed it so much, we put our trailer on a seasonal site for next year. Can"t wait for spring!!!!

We love this campground. One of the main reasons is because they do enforce the rules. If they did not, we wouldnt go. People who can not follow rules make it very unpleasant for everyone one else. The campground is only open from May1 to Oct. So I dont know how someone was there in April??? Keep up the good work Patricia Lake.

My family and I absolutely love Patricia Lake Campground. We go every year for the peacful quiet wooded lots! The owners are very helpful. They have so many activities including a chili dump, pot luck and free coffee days! The best part is that it is extremely well kept and quiet. No loud drunks or rowdy teens like what you may find at many other places. We highly recommend Patricia Lake Campground!!!!

Love, Love, Love. Over the past 16 years our family has enjoyed Patricia Lake Campground. My husband and I first camped here in 1994. We fell in love with the beauty and cleanliness of Patricia Lake Campground. We have continued to come back every year. Our children (8 and 10 years) have been camping with us since they were babies. There is so much for families to do. They have a playground, volleyball, basketball, horse shoes, paddle boats, row boats, a swimming raft, and a great sandy beach. This year I see they even added a workout room. The hosts, Joy and David, are very friendly, kind and helpful. These attributes add to the attraction and desire to continue camping at Patricia Lake Campground. During our first camping trip, David assisted us “newbies” in starting our first camp fire. Another year camping he helped me with a flat tire. As well, every time you walk into the office Joy has a smile on her face. Many times she has suggested great ideas for places to visit or dine at downtown. I highly recommend camping here.

My family and I have found what we think to be the perfect camp ground! The sites are large, shaded, fire ring at each site. Beautiful beach area for both our kids and dogs. Nice playground that the kids could go to with out a worry as the owner is very persistant that every car that comes through his gate is registared and accounted for. There is a great little store right on the grounds that offers all the treats you could need or want. We rented a boat for a day and the kids caught pan size fish as well as a couple of large bass. We even met a couple who have been seasonals there for 49 years! They have raised kids and grand kids sharing this great experience of camping!! If you are ever in the North Woods I highly recommend a few nights here with Joy and Dave! They do all the can to meet your needs and more! We will really make it a point to return, maybe even make it a family trip every year.
