ron is awesome! So he doesnt allow crazy flips into the pool with lawn chairs but he is always sensible and nice. you'll never find a rewind in time like this place - pool, beach, bar, and friendly atmosphere that you can't find where you live...im sad if they dont have fireworks this year but this place has the best bloody mary's that ever existied...we luv ron and crazy bev b/c they are sweet sensible people who have a great camping site environment for all ages and they dont treat us different b/c we are younger and like to have a good time -as long as we respect others there, we are free to enjoy the ammendities & do as we please - ron and bev have been gratious hosts to us and our friends since 2005 and we we'll always cherious the gem we discovered at their campsite that we enjoy every fourth of july!!!
well we wanted to go camping since the highschool state baseball tournament was going on and this was the only camp site around, so $20 a night is a ripe off to get yelled at for not doing anything. We have never by age discriminated like i was at this place, bev and ron the managers were the worst, and according to him he is an expert at speedometers. so we packed up are stuff after being there for only a few hours and left to get a free hotel in Wausau, so it was the worst campsite i have ever been to. Im 19 and have never been so mad because of somebody thinking im some punk we really didnt do anything wrong, stay away from this place if you are looking to stay a few days, he was only nice to the trailer trash people that are the regulars who are there every weekend...
that is all
We love coming to Riversedge campground it is close to home yet we feel like were miles away.love to go to the pool always clean and refreshing.there is a resturant that has the best friday night fish fry around. The managers Ron and Bev are the best they run the campground they make you feel right at home.what ever you need they are glad to help you.It is a smaller campgrond but thats what we like it has alot of seasonal site but most of them are wonderful people.only dislike is you have to pay for showers. It is right along the interstate but you block out the traffic and your fine never botherd any of us and we camp here at least 5 times a year with a group. Can't wait for camping season to begin.
We had a permanent site for 2 years - the boat landing is convenient, fishing is excellent! Beach for kids is pretty nice, too. Some tent sites are pretty sunny - but all other sites are shady, quiet (can't hear the bar at all) and very well kept. The caretakers are wonderful folks who live onsite year-round. Great sandy playground for the kids, game room is so-so, pool is nice but no shade anywhere. Hot showers, clean bathrooms, rv sites are great!
Tent sites had no shade. bar right on campsite and they played extremeley loud music till way past 2 am. Extremely overpriced campsite. Also right next to interstate and you could hear cars going by all night long. Would not stay here again.
