Introduction for Wilson House Inn, Dorset

Return to Wilson House Inn main page

This truly special historic house was the birthplace of Bill W., co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. The Wilson House is meant to be a living memorial -- a place where people can come to visit and give thanks to God for their new lives and to give thanks for God working through Bill to give them the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and the fellowship of the Program. There are 14 guestrooms available for overnight guests, including a small efficiency apartment with a sitting room, bath with a shower, and loft bedroom. In November of 1995, the Wilson House was added to the National Register of Historic Places, protecting it for generations to come.
