Inn of the Dove, Cherry Hill

We had stayed here 15 years ago and the property was very nice. Robes to wrap yourselves in, towels, working hot tub.....NOT today!! 3 bath towels provided, no robes, no washcloths, that's it. Room is dirty. No blanket on the bed. Hot tub had hair in it, and only 3 of 7 jets worked (this was the main reason for our stay). When I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't work. I went to office (3 hours into our stay) and asked if they get any repeat business and for a washcloth. The man at the front desk didn't seem to understand. I advised him there is an uncovered electric outlet next to the bed again I was stared at like I had 2 heads. Stay away and save your $200!!! I tried to give it a zero star rating but had to put 1. That is too generous!!!!

The room had the same bed spread from 20 yrs ago, the mirrors were dirty, the double shower only had one hot water working, the bed was as hard as a rock and I don't mean firm! In other words could feel the coil springs threw the sheets! And to top it all off I forgot my camera there and the cleaning crew kept it! I know it was my responsability but come on now! I worked for a car rental co and if someone called that they left something, we had it for them! It's call integerty, something these Arab fucks don't have! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

Booked a honeymoon suite for Valentine's Day back in early Jan. in Egg Harbor.Was quoted $149 for one night. Asked 4 x to confirm rate. Get there, told room was $308!!???! Took the room anyway. Had to climb over snow and walk through mud to get to room. Light fixtures outside all broken. Recently renovated!??! Where?!!? Room was cold, one small heater/air conditioner in fairly large room. Bathroom DIRTY and freezing! No heat in there at all. Tub was chipped and peeling. Hot water ran rusty and brown, My hubby called front desk, was told to "let it run". Ok, 20 minutes later finally ran clear. Jets did not all work.Tile around tub was missing grout, broken uneven tiles. Thought about log for fireplace $10 each at front desk to warm room. Hubby said no way, fireplace was full of old ashes and soot, afraid to light a fire in there. Brown gunk on faucet in bathroom sink. Mirrors were scummy around tub and on ceiling. Fake marble paneling was missing pieces near the bed. NO bottle of anything, no flowers NOTHING for the extra cost for Valentine's Day! The room felt SLEAZY, not romantic. My husband refused to take a shower there. Wooden bench in shower made of ordinary 2X4's. NEVER AGAIN! Could have booked a better room in a casino hotel for less!!!!!!!!!

My girlfriendand i went to egg harbor dove... we traveled 60 miles in a snow storm to enjoy our 1st year together. the room heater never warmed up.. hot tub jets didnt work.. over half the light bulbs were out.. no cd player.. had to by wood to stay warm and in all the place was filthy!! they never cleared the side walks or plowed the roads... from what we read here cherry hill is no better.. if you want a romantic time dont go to the dove..

We had booked the room with a pool at a little over $500 for one night and could not believe our eyes! The shower was soooo dirty and dated I was scared to step foot in it. I do not believe I would have gotten clean in something sooo filthy! The door to the bathroom was broke and I was stuck in there for 15 minutes before my boyfriend was able to get me out. The whirlpool tub was very dirty and the mirrors surrounding it were scummy. The rug was coming up all over the place. Then i entered the pool room. What horrors! Other peoples dirty cups and beer bottles just laying around. And spider webs everywhere! then along the back wall is where we saw the HUGE colony of ants! The "chaise lounges" they put out were nothing more than what you would see at a community pool only really, really dirty. And even if it was clean, the pool (my boyfriend put his foot in, I would not dare) was freezing cold! She said would heat up in 45 minutes but it did not. We did not stay the night , it was too disgusting. They gave us all our money back. We had stayed before in a regular room and the shower was so filthy we had to ask for a maid to clean it. Needless to say we have learned our lesson. NEVER AGAIN!!!

It was extremly over priced, the whirlpool was nasty. I spent 40 minis cleaning some orange stuff out of the jacuzzi, it was raining and the room smelled like an old building.

I went with my wife to enjoy my anniversary and they didnt let me down. My wife was very happy with the things went. The location is very quiet and there is no disturbance at all. It is very comfortable and the infrastructure in the room is just excellent. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and I am quite excited because I have already reserved the pool room and heard a lot about that room. This is kind of a dream envisaging a pool in the room. The place is very clean and the rooms are maintained in a very decent manner.

This is the most romantic place i have ever been. My any my girlfriend heard a lot about this hotel but today we finally saw that this place deserves to be one of the best. The way they have designed the room is totally out of this world to start with the jacuzzi and mirrors around it are extra ordinary. The price is worth for and even this place is like an idealistic stay. The rooms are very spacious and very romantic. If this is your first date then believe me nothing is going to go wrong. If you havent visited this place before then this is the right time. They will never let you down. Thanks.

I had my birthday party celebrated at the honeymoon suite with my boyfriend, the room was excellent and area is really very comfy and peaceful. I would like to appreciate the managementfor making my stay lovely.

People tell us about the inn of the dove, that don't ever go there. the place is nasty,filty,full of junk and so unorganize. But Some people are just makin out for their money back. Me and my boy friend reserv a honeymoon suite at "INN OF THE DOVE , CHERRYHILL " it was a great stay. We even didn't see any kind of dirtyness at the property. when we got there the front desk staff was so friendly & helpful. the room was decor with fresh flowers, rose pads, bottle of champagne and champagne fluites. it was everything in order. the wet bar was neet & clean. jaccuzzi was great. we had so much fun for the money we spend at the dove. !!!!! I highly recomend this place for romantic getaway. !!!!!
