100f Dirty room and fire alarm in the morning

Very suprise with other reviews, This is what I got. Booked by hotwire, Went there around 10pm. The guy in the reception keep told me I went to the wrong place until I show him the confirm page that save in my laptop. Got a room at the edge of 2nd floor. Elevator is way too far, Got to climb the stairway with my luggage. when the door is open the AC was off and smile strange. I think it was more then 100 degree there. AC unit is very old (as the room) and feckly can not make any cool air. You can easy to find the trash on the carpet like the used staple that hurt my foot. Sheet and pillowcase is not fresh, towel in the bath room are mess. I don't konw how could they get 3 star? The best part is in the next moring the fire alarm was crying out suddenly, I walk to the parking lot and wait, No one come out to explain. very unhappy with the "3 star" motel. stay away!

Not that Great of a Place

The price of the room was too high. Much better price, workout room and cleaner at Crowne Plaza. Even downtown hotels in Springfield are much better. Staff are friendly.

Excellent place to stay!!

This is the best hotel i have ever stayed at and would recommend this one to anyone!! Nice staff, beautiful lobby, pool area was very nice, clean room with nice clean white sheets and super comfortable beds, great breakfast and eating area. Close to many places to eat, a walmart close for anything you might have forgot to bring, and right off the interstate. Do not stay anywhere else while in Springfield, we will be back!!

Uncommon Hospitality

Only positive things to say about the Inn, innkeeper and staff; everything about our stay was excellent. Breakfast was incredible and the owner was very accomodating of our requests. I would highly recommend this for the casual traveler if they are looking to be pampered for the night or for the traveler to Norwich University if they want to be close - its a seven minute walk. Everything was clean, tidy and welcoming.

Can't do better!

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. I sent my kids to the service desk twice, once for extra towels and once for extra blankets, and they were treated very well both times. It means a lot when hotel staff treats children with respect. The indoor pool area was nice with a great outdoor deck area. The room was bright with excellent lighting and clean white bedding. The bathroom was spacious and the room itself well equipped with refirgerator and microwave. Everything was spotless, interior and exterior. The location is very convenient (exit 100B) off of I55. There are several very nice places to dine within walking distance. The extended continental breakfast is fantastic and the kids actually eat. This hotel is an excellent value and a person couldn't ask for more. The halls are quite at night and the beds are extremely comfortable. This is a must stay for the area!

Loved It!

I liked everthing about This place except for the person at the front desk when I checked in. He acted like I was bothering him by simply checking in. I had experience with three other staff people at the front desk and they more than made up for the one bad apple. Rooms are nice, very clean. I was there for a party in one of there ballrooms which were fantastic! All staff I interacted with there were phenominal!! Overall a great place to stay and I can't wait to go back!

Nice place; less than great service

The hotel itself was fine: clean rooms (though inadequate lighting), nice breakfast, cozy lobby, etc. However, the staff person that dealt with my reservation and check-in was less than accomodating. He acted like I was bothering him in both instances. I did not interact with the rest of the staff, but this person should NOT be dealing with customers as the "face" of the hotel.

Quiet gem off Dirksen Parkway

This place is off the main northeast highway. Close to I-55. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of items and area is kept very clean.

The kids loved it

This motel was very clean, well appointed and the breakfast waswonderful. The pool is large and very clean. The fitness room was very adequate. We have recommended this motel and will go back when in Springfield.

Awesome!

Very clean rooms. Nice pool and hot tub area. Awesome breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed directions to another establishment and the staff worked together to get us to our destination. Will be going back soon!
