Country Inn and Suites By Carlson St. Charles MO, St Charles

Just got home from 4 day, 3 night stay at Country Inn. It was great. No hesitation to stay there again. Can walk to stores on Main St or Casino. Hotel clean, quiet, excellent breakfast (better than most), friendly staff and very helpful. Didn't use pool or jacuzzi but looked good. Room was very clean and quiet. Had plenty of room to move around. Recommend highly for your next stay.

I had read a previous review online which said that St. Charles was a fun little town. Not only was the town quaint and historic, but this hotel was perfect. The rooms were huge and nice. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was REALLY good. Even the coffee was great! And the hotel was very inexpensive. Stay here and walk to the cute historic Main Street's shops and restaurants.

We have always wanted to go to the casinos in St. Charles for a while, so when we had the opportunity on our anniversary we took advantage. We arrived early and thankfully we were allowed to check in early. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really had no idea where to go for dinner but knew what we had a taste for. The staff at the desk gave us some options and when we chose, they called ahead and made reservations for us! The restaurant was great and even gave us a piece of coconut cream pie for our anniversary! Thank you Rachel for all you do! You truly are a great asset! We are looking forward to coming back!

Close to Main Street shops,free breakfast,free inter-net, they even dropped the price another $10.00.We ate at Lewis and Clarks every night.Not many nice places to eat very close.The staff was friendly and helpful.The room made up great everyday and plenty of parking for guest in the back.The Park and river was just outside the back.

Have stayed here several times. This time was very disappointed. Checked in on Fri, was told A/C had been on the blitz but room would cool off by evening. By Sunday, still hadn't cooled off. Heard several of the guests complaining their rooms were hot, also. Feel like there should've been some compensation, expeciallys since they were aware of problem when we checked in. Room also needed some deep cleaning. Staff was friendly.

I book rooms at this hotel for my niece and her family that was coming from Kansas City, Conneticut and Atlanta. We had a wonderful time, the rooms were great and the staff very helpful Breakfast was also very good.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean, staff were friendly and courteous. They offer a terrific breakfast as well as fresh baked cookies in the lobby. The amenities are nice. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I return to St. Charles.

Our stay was relaxing. The suite was large, well kept, clean and appeared to be very new. The bathroom was very large and clean! Empolyees were helpfull and friendly. The pool is very small but was tastefully done. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection of choices. This was overall a very nice stay. We will be returning soon.

We paid cash and got a two night stay, as we had reserved it for about 2 months. Our room had no hand towels or wash cloths and our trash was full and there was hair on the bathroom floor. Non the less we went to sleep, got up and had a wonderful breakfast. The service in the little breakfast room was above and beyond great�that lady was just wonderful�and the waffle iron, just turn, like a dial. We went out for the day, Forrest Park is only about 30 mins away. Got back and the room was not touched, which I guess I expected someone to give us new towels and/or washcloths, and the trash was still full. But what ever, they went for a swim and we called it a night. Packed up and came home, then this morning got a charge on the card for another nights stay (had to give them the card number to hold the room); we paid up front, cash (guess I learned a lesson). Now we have to search for the receipt and prove to them we paid for the room. Which frustrates me because we DID pay! And they did not come clean the room, like we only paid for one night. Over all the place was new (stairs smelled like paint) and the breakfast help was great, but I won�t be back.

We stayed here for four days in March, 2007. The hotel is very close (brief walk) from a huge river casino. (But with the kids we did not get a chance to go there.) We had a room with two queen beds. With our five member family, some had the floor. The price was right, and you can get to most of the attractions in St. Louis within 15-20 mins. The included breakfast is great! Very good make your own waffles, and ready biscuits and sausage patties. Nice. The lobby looks just like the photo, very nice. The rooms were well kept, minus the one night that we had no TP. No problem, a quick phone call, and we had it. The pool was small, but great for us. The whirlpool was hot, but not bubbly. The covered basement parking was really nice on the rainy days. We did not even visit the historic downtown a block away. Driving through it, it looks fun for adults, with a few bars and whatnots. They were even having music by the river down there, but we missed that too. We had a great time at this hotel, and would easily stay there again.
