Convenient but don't ask for help

The campground unfortunately is one of just a few campgrounds in the area. We stayed at Big Oak because it was convenient. We arrived at dark, someone had left a "dump" mess in our site that we had to bury. It took 40 feet of hose to reach the dump (we had 30 feet onboard). When we went up to the office to ask for some help (money off of our over $200 cash paid already (they only take cash), a different site or some hose), we were very arrogantly told "I'd rather see you out on the highway than give you anything free", I have never camped anywhere and received such treatment. When my husband checked in, he heard this same employee/owner tell someone on the phone "if you would shutup, I'll give you directions...". It is made very clear that your business is not necessary to them. If you need the convenience, stay away from the office, it's a shame, it could be a nice place if nice people ran it.
