Homestead At Rehoboth Bed & Breakfast, Rehoboth Beach

My husband and I just spent a wonderful 4-day weekend at the Homestead at Rehoboth Beach, and we would recommend it highly. Mary and Judy are wonderful hostesses. The atmosphere is casual, but the cleanliness and service are meticulous. The Sunflower Room is newly decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. All amenities are provided -- a small refrigerator, a hairdryer, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, make-up removal towelettes -- they really thought of everything! They also provide beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the beaches. The breakfasts and afternoon snacks are delicious, including amazing home-baked muffins and chocolate chip cookies. The swimming pool was a welcome respite from the crowded beaches and felt like our own private oasis, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. The location is ideal if you want to sample the local beaches and towns (Rehoboth, Lewes, Cape Henlopen State Park) then return to your own quiet retreat. For our last pre-baby vacation, it could not have been more perfect!
