Bardstown Parkview Motel, Bardstown

Old motel in run down condition. Could've been really cool place with a little paint and sprucing up, but as is, I would pass! We had efficiency room. Furniture was dingy and bedroom was not well lit. Roof leaked during big storm, so wet spot on the floor. Giant pool that would be really nice with some fresh paint and a little attention. Seemed to have plenty of hot water in the shower and ample towels for the potential number of guest in that type room. Price was not an issue in this case, but it was probably $30.00 less than the Best Western. We would've gladly paid the additional money to stay in the Best Western, but they were booked full. Make your reservations early and avoid any problems like this.

My husband & I stayed here on our first visit to Bardstown 2009. Last year we stayed at another motel which was also within walking distance of downtown Bardstown. This year he told me to book us back at Parkview since it was much nicer. The restaurant next door is very nice and affordable also.

Parkview Motel is a lovely older, attractive motel. The staff was most kind, and the rooms were very nice, and very clean. The location of the motel was close to everything we wanted to see. We would absolutely go back again.
