Do not go
By Jim, 09/18/07
A dump. Driving through there is like driving through the roads of Morroco with the bumps, boulders and ruts from rain run off. Office girl chats on the phone while customers pile up and communicates to customers with angry hand signals while she continues on chatting with her boyfriend on the phone. Save yourself the stress.

Noisest park ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/06
This place is basically a parking lot next to the freeway, railroad tracks and a truck stop. The noise from the highway and truck stop is fairly constant and mildly annoying. The worst, however, are the trains. Every 15 or 20 minutes throughout the night trains roar by and all make it a point to blow their horns long and loud. You will need to be dead tired, dead drunk or just plain dead to get any sleep at this place. It is TERRIBLE! Never again!!!!

Had a wonderful experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/06
When we visited, the campground itself needed some attention and sprucing up, but it's the only campground we've encountered with 50 amp service at each site. The highlight of our four day stay was the adjacent steak house and nightly entertainment. The waitstaff was comprised of young, energetic music students from a nearby college who were most eager to showcase their talents. We ate there twice in four nights and the food was excellent. Recommended by fellow campers, Black Barts is one place we will definitely revisit.
