Very pet friendly but......

This place is VERY pet friendly. That was certainly a plus. You walk in and they provide Fido with a nice big pet blanket and a couple of giant treats.
It is centrally located to many parks and attractions in the North Georgia Mountains. The owners of the resort are very nice and will offer up suggestions of things to do. The cabins are cute and the pictures are exactly what you'll get.
We enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the mountains and the cabin was very private and quiet. The white towels were nice and they switched out the towels when asked.
Drawbacks. Don't expect it to be "hotel" clean. Expect rustic. All serviceware in the kitchen is mixed and matched. Your pots will need a good scrub before use. The floors downstairs in the main area needed a good mopping. The airconditioning vent had a thick layer of dust on it. The pillows and chairs were stained. We put a blanket on the couch. There is limited space for clothing (you'll need to live out of your suitcase). The Dish TV network seemed as if it was shared amongst a few cabins. Each night it varied what channels we could access. As if someone else was watching the channel we wanted.
My advice. Save some money, and check out the State Park Systems. They offer furnished cottages that you can rent for much less.
