The cabin we stayed in was secluded...couldn't see any other cabins from our screened in deck. Was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Everything worked, and we had a great time. Staff very friendly. Loved the in-bedroom jacuzzi and the hot tub on the raised deck! Totally quiet and private. Lovely. Can't wait to go back!

There are plenty of other cabin rental businesses in Blue Ridge who have wonderful cabins. You just have to talk to them in advance. The people who Blue Ridge Cabin Rental are nice when you are booking but if you have a problem or do anything to set them off, you are up the creek. They are the rudest 2 people I have ever met, much less done business with.

Cabin was ok, smaller than expected, no separation from bedroom to the kitchen/living area. Parking at cabin was dangerous. Problem with fridge leaking water on floor into the kitchen and then bathroom. Also, the cabin had a WI-FI router, and "wireless internet" which was nonfunctional. After 5 calls over 5 days this was never fixed while we were there. Our explanation from staff was "the maintenance men are backed up since coming back from a two day vacation." And "we have a different internet here, your computer may not work we can't be held responsible". The problem was they hadn't paid the ISP, so no service. Helen is a great place to visit, but stay with another company to avoid the hassles!

We rented a cabin for a holiday weekend. My husband had received the confirmation papers at his office. He works out of town. The plan was for my son and I to meet my husband up there. It was pouring down rain and using the directions from there website we attempted to find there office to pick up the key. Not being able to find our way, along with the fact that we used the directions from their website instead of the directions from the confirmation is what first set off Peter, one of the owners. We was yelling and screaming and they ended up telling us that they would not rent a cabin to us! Friday, 4:30pm, holiday weekend, my husband on his way from Atlanta, the children and I already there, and no cabin. We had rented from them before and had minor problems, all were problems with them being rude. This was just crazy! Nice cabins though.

I left today from a 3 night stay in Captain's Quarter's. I loved it & I'm ready to go back! I needed to relax and was able to do so with the combination of the homey feel of the cabin, great location and the charm of Helen. The online pictures are an accurate portrayal of the cabin, but it was still a pleasant surprise in person. Check in was easy and I did not need to deal with the office again until I checked out. My favorites were: the comfortable bed, the privacy and great view, great waterfall shower head, flat screen TV and jacuzzi tub. My boyfriend really liked the hot tub on the deck , pool table and the open feeling of the cabin. I highly recommend it. FYI - I use T-Mobile as my cell carrier and I had no reception in the cabin. Sprint's reception was not great, but at least my boyfriend's phone worked. Due to the fact that I wanted R&R then it didn't bother me, but it may be a concern to others. The website said Cingular, Verizon and Nextel worked well.

My family has stayed with Blue Ridge Cabin Rentals on two occations. Both times we had a wonderful time. The cabins (we had two different ones) were clean and well maintained. The only thing to be careful of is they have cabins that are truly wooded and secluded (both we stayed in were) and they have cabins that are basically in neighborhoods, but with beautiful views. It's your preference. But be sure to ask before booking. We perfer to look at woods and be secluded, but that is just our opinion. Check in and out is very easy, in fact, our last stay we came in late and never even went by the office once. Overall, we have had two good experiences in a row renting from them.

The staff at blue ridge was the rudest most unaccomidating staff I have ever encountered. They hook you in by being all sweet while you make your reservation; but once they have you up there and they have your money they couldn't care less if you are happy with your stay or not. I travel often and I must say never in my life have I been treated so badly, and talked to so rudely as I was by the staff at Blue ridge. Most places are wonderful and happy to have you, please find one of them to stay at. All in all, minor problem in room could have been resolved easily if staff had been nice. Result, hateful rude staff who talks to customers in a way they should never get away with. BEWARE!!!!!!!

The cabin was very nice. The view was absolutly beautiful. We are already talking about going back. The cabin was very clean and it had everything we needed for our visit.The only thing negative is we couldn't stay longer.

My husband and I and another couple rented from Blue Ridge Cabins, and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was extremely clean and beautiful with a great view. It was about a 5 min drive into Helen, but it was worth it to be away from all of the people and noise when we were ready to end our evenings. Check in and out was easy, and the price was great. We didn't want to leave and will go back as soon as we can.

I booked with Blue Ridge Cabin Rentals on June 2-07 for June 8-11. I had a family member become deathly ill a couple of days later. Life support will be removed today. I called the agency to see if I could cancel or schedule at a later date. I was told no and that my deposit was not refundable. Blue ridge kept the $183.50 for nothing. There were 5 two bed room cabins available when I booked. The remaining 4 were still available the day after I called. It took me 2 days to get the manager Misty to talk to me. she rudely told me that it was my tuff luck and refused to try and work out another date. This was clearly greed raising it`s ugly head. This agency is about money and does not care about anything else. Please use another agency when booking your stay.
