Gulf Breeze Rv Resort, Gulf Shores

Our family has been coming to this park for years. The ladies in the office have been more than helpful . We love the cleanliness of this place and the location. The showers are always so clean . The laundry area is always clean and well maintained. The pools---in door and outdoor and the hot tub are always pristine. The grounds look great all the time ---the only ....AND I MEAN ONLY ---gripe I have about this place is how much water is retained in certain low lying areas. THe wifi went out a few days last week, but I'm thinking that when we go back tomorrow it will be back on. Site 16 ---Blessed to be able to vacation here!

WE USUALLY STAY AT THE GULF STATE PARK. I THINK WE WILL STAY WHERE THE SMILES ARE AND THERE ARE NO BATS OR WITCHES.

I have been camping at this campground for about 17 years and have never been treated the way I was this year. I was told that because of my age and because I had kids that I could not camp on a certain site that I wanted to park on. Was told by the lady in the office that she lived on the site in front of the one I wanted to park on and she did not think I would be as good of a neighbor as the people she was SAVING the site for. I have always been told they can not save sites unless you are paying for it already. I was paying for a site already and still did not get the site I wanted. The lady also told me that she had had a bad day and just could not deal with this right then, that I would have to call back, RUDE RIGHT? Me and my family stay from April thru August on site, you would think that would count for something. There is a couple of ladies in the office that are great and so friendly. I wish I could give you there name, so you would not have to deal with the witch. Overall we enjoy the campground, just have to be a little picky when you go in the office. I will not deal with this lady in office and if she is the only one working I will just have to come back or wait on one of the other ladies to finish with their customer. I know there is serval costomer that feel the same way about this one lady as I do, so not alot of reason to even have her in there

Love this place. Our whole family stays together, play together and forget about the real life for a while. Convenient to get there and everything you would want to do, adult or child is very close. We enjoy taking our kids because it is safe due to all the rules. They are strict about cleanliness, safety, age regulations which makes it the ultimate family campground because you know everyone is watching out for little ones. It's great and I hope that we are able to have so many more family times and memories to come! Love it!

Great campground! Very clean and lots to do on site. Paved roads/sites, great for people on bikes/walking the grounds, etc. Decent seperation of campers. Very clean shower/baths. Did not experience the rudeness others are talking about, everyone was very helpful, even over the phone. There were quite a few 'long-termers', snowbirds I guess, and all of them that we met very nice. They even had karoake Fri night put on by one of the snowbirds. Lots of fun, sang with my 10 y/o. Not to fear about the long-termers, all the camps we saw were set up/decorated really nice. We are most definitely staying here again, probably as soon as this summer. We came over from MS to find some good clean, wavy beaches and loved this campground. We try to go to state parks as they are usually cheaper/cleaner, but found this and are so glad. Close to most anything you want to do, cheap, and clean. We have 2 boys and they loved it.

Every time that I call, I have always been treated rudely. The lady who answers the phone never takes the time to look at dates before telling me that they are booked - no sites available.

Great Family place. We have been going for 12 years. Our families have 5 campers that we leave in storage. Very Kid friendly... mine have grown up going there and have loved it! Bath houses and pools are very clean! The staff in the BEST they have ever had! Julie is great! And slim does a great job putting and taking campers to and from storage! Try it ! You will LOVE IT!!!!!

Been going for almost 10 years. Very nice place; lots of amenities including indoor swimming pool & hot tub; clean bathrooms - very nice family bathrooms. This year, though, the mosquitos were horrific. Don't they spray? Lots of coin-op washers & dryers (have to watch to see which ones really work) all in all, an A+ place to stay compared to most camp resorts - Acreage near camper storage where you can let your doggies run - that's a very nice plus. Lots of long-terms, who have the best lots. Most campers are very nice -- chances are if you meet someone rude, they work there. The ladies in office are rude; ladies on golf carts are ruder. One gentleman in the office was very nice and helpful, but acted like he was new to the area when it came to tips on charters, etc. No one smiles or greets you - from the ladies in the office to the people cleaning the bath houses. I smile and waive - they just look at me like I'm nuts. I'm sure the job is challenging sometimes - but really, if you don't want the job - find another - or like the rest of us now, be happy with the one you have because at least you HAVE one. If you go, you'll love the amenities but don't count on any help from the staff.

Nice place never had any problems here but one time and the air conditioner in the park model messed up and it was in July. But it wasn't unbearable. Last time we went the washers in one of the bathhouses were broken so that was kinda inconvient. But overall wonderful place to bring your family and stay!
