never again!

Pros: located on the bay-front with a view of the Bay from all or nearly all sites (when another camper is not blocking the view--see Cons); clean bathrooms; well shaded lots with beautiful mature trees; very southern style friendly staff; nice communal space deck with sitting/relaxing area on the Bay; quite at night
Cons: the tinest lots ever, not sure they could be any smaller (gives a whole new meaning to "camping on top of your neighbor"); only two toilets/showers, one for men and one for women; the two bathrooms are inside entry in the small office so you have to walk past the staff and/or other customers with all of your shower gear; no fire ring or campfire of any kind are allowed; no place to store your bicycles; the staff, while friendly, are very involved with each of the campers' stays, which if you are not into the small-town, everyone-knows-everyone feel, can feel quite invasive; you are not allowed to stake down your tent (who knows why this is a rule?)
Overall, our experience at this park was one of our least farovable camping experiences ever. The lots are so tiny that it was literally less than 8 feet from the side of our camper to the side of one of our neighboring campers, leaving very little outside walking/eating/living space. Each site has a concrete pad that you are not allowed to park or drive on, and the next pad is only a few feet away.
Most campgrounds in the area are RV parks. For those camping in a small camper or tent, be aware this park is truly an RV park. If you are accustomed to a campground with a gather-'round-the-campfire style of camping, this is not what you'll find at this park. Most of the units during our stay were large scale RVs, which given the sites, was extremely cramped when the park was full or nearly full. We never saw anyone outside at night with their twinkle lights aglow, laughing and swapping stories with thier family or friends. In general, this was not our typical camping experience.
We will never return, nor do we recommend anyone else staying at this RV park.
