The Adelaide has an excellent downtown location, only one block to Union Square(The center of San Francisco in the Theatre district and in the middle of San Francisco's main shopping and theatre districts. We are close to all major tourist attractions like Alcatraz prison, Union Square, the famous San Francisco Cable Cars, ChinaTown, Fishermans Wharf, Castro Street and of course the famous Haight Ashbury district. All of these attractions are only a short walk or bus ride from the Adelaide Hostel. If you are coming to San Francisco for a conference we are only a one minute walk to the Hilton convention center and we are a five minute walk to the Moscone Convention Center. Our international staff will help you with directions when you arrive.The Adelaide building is modeled after the European style pensionne hotels which are popular in many European cities,with a guest lobby where you can read or just relax and meet new friends.
