Shocking

As a South African in the UK, all I do is brag about what excellent service South Africa provides and could easily be compared to the US! However, following a recent stay at Fawncastle estates in Hillcrest, Durban, I was shocked to the core.
Despite having paid a 50% deposit and booked three months in advance, when we arrived we were told there was no booking, as Pat's son Rob, was in the hospital. When we arrived were asked to leave and come back despite being 2 hours past the check in time, because Pat wasnt available. The first night we had to bunk up, me and my sister.
Having not had breakfast for two days of our 6 day stay, which was already paid for, we decided to try it, arrived in the dining room at 9:45, breakfast finished apparently at 10:00, and was told everything had been packed away and asked "What do you want?"
The safe didnt work, the DVD player didnt work, there was no parking because of a NAMPAK conference, it was a total shambles.
To be treated this way as an overseas visitor is desplicable...
