pretty good for bratislava
make sure you walk through the courtyard off the main street to find the hostel, it's a little difficult at night. it's location is great, within walking distance of the main city centre and close to shops and bars. the receptionists we encountered were friendly and helpful. the room was adequate, although it smelled like cigarrete smoke despite the no-smoking policy. it was fairly clean, although the bathroom smelled. they claim that they have a "quiet hours" policy in order to monitor the noise, but on friday night it got pretty loud inside and outside, so if you are a light sleeper, buy some earplugs before staying here on a friday night! the walls must be thin because we could hear everything! the discount they offer for the pubs was nice. good internet access, although the computers are a bit old. overall i would recommend staying here if you aren't too picky. it was not the best hostel nor was it the worse hostel, just average.
