Nice Place
The hostel is in an excellent location, in Bugis village complex and a minute walk to the Bugis subway station. The area is nice and classy. In the back, there's a hawkers' center for inexpensive and tasty local food, and a street market to buy souvenirs, clothing, cds, and such. The only drawback was that I booked online and ended up spending USD$30 more for three nights than if I had just walked in (usually, the internet rate is always better than the walk-in rate, but not at this hostel!). I pointed the price differentials out but the staff was unwilling to negotiate. Also, I stayed in a double private, which is intended for two people, but the room was very small. Luckily, I was by myself so it was ok, but I have no idea how two people can fit in. The room was very clean though. The hostel is also very quiet so I always woke up well-rested.
