We are near the following:***RIZAL PARK---Just 1 or 2 minutes walk away is historic 60+ hectares Rizal Park, once also called Luneta in Spanish colonial times, this place has greeneries, various gardens, paved walks, wooded areas, trees, ponds, and various monuments including the most famous RIZAL MONUMENT where all tourists usually have their photos taken and this marks his tomb. On the side of this monument is also the exact spot there the national hero was executed by the Spanish colonial regime on December 30, 1896; see this exhibit. In early mornings, join or watch Chinese health buffs do ancient Chinese 't'ai chi' exercises or Filipino 'arnis' martial arts...or jog, stroll, relax. On Sunday eveninfs starting 6pm, enjoy free music with Concert at the Park in the Open-Air Auditorium.
