Hotel DLido, Managua

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Worst ever. The pool looks like a cesspool (it was so dirty I would not let a dog bathe in that water), bugs in swarms at night because the windows do not close, bedding and towels that look like used clothing rejects, and if you are lucky a room the actually has hot water (well more like warm), a/c (at an extra charged) has a foul order and one setting..plug in for on...plug out for off. Only good thing provided was the free internet. The staff takes a commission from the taxi service and the breakfast - bad coffee and one piece of stale toast. I would not recommend !!!!! One Star Establishment

When I arrived I was a little surprised cause the pictures make it looks so good but my standards are high. I arrived and it didnt quite look as good as the pictures. I think im a little spoiled by nice hotels in America. Overall though still not bad

I loved the personalized service the staff gave me and my wife. The pool was surprisingly almost always empty so I got to swim quite a good swim in it quite a few times. The food was delicious. Nicaraguan styled food and the fish is fresh I should know I'm a chef. The rooms were quite comfortable and the internet service for free was a great add on because almost every hotel in Nicaragua they will charge you for their internet acess. The mother of the owner Ricardo took us around the city to see all the sites. Also I was forwarned that certain parts of Nicaragua may be unsafe for tourists but I never found that to be the case in the neighbourhood that Hotel DLido is in. I found myself being greeted by the locals all the time they were so friendly. Nicaragua is defenetly a place you have to visit because the culture is so different and simple but rich with colors and music. I highly recommend this hotel and you can bet your dollar that I will be back in no time. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel D'Lido and to the Owner Ricardo and his lovely family.

I stayed at the hotel lido in July this year and it seemed to me a very nice atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and they helped me locate myself in the city, the place is very typical nice, the food is good and clean is notable, has a very nice pool and very clean, I would recommend visiting the hotel lido

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel dlido, attention was excellent, my family and friends we liked a lot, is quiet, cozy and very nice, the rooms are spacious with air conditioning and cheaply, with free internet, the pool is large and can be used by children and adults, great option to spend with family

friendly and clean. good location and food was ok. i would recomend it to friends and family. i felt safe and relax around the hotel and all the personel was very polite.

this a very nice hotel with pool and a/c for less then 30$ cant beat that the sirvice was good also and very close to everything including the us embasy and airport
