Travellers Palm, Kuala Lumpur

Travellers Palm: It is a nice small house, where you feel safe and comfy in a real sarrounding of Kuala Lumpur Maleisia! Dorm room is a bit tiny but it makes your stay reel good espacially in meeting other travellers! Rooms are with AC and fans. Everything is in a walking distance. Showers are a bit small (with warm water), but good in according to a hostel rate. The lounge area makes you feel really comfy after a long day of walking around in Kuala Lumpur! There is a big choice of different dvd's that you can play in the lounge area. Also travellers are kindly informed to keep the noice down after 11.00pm for a good nights rest. The kitchen is ok, no room to cook your own dinner but there are a lot of restaurants just beside the Hostel, not expancive and it is an awesom expierence to taste the real Malaisian Kitchen. Plus there is a seven eleven around the corner with an atm! The breakfast is included, witch containes toast, milk, cereals, jam and butter. Coffee, thee and hot chocolate are available all day. There is ofcourse a check out time, but also here you don't have to rush to get out of there, you can wonder around in the hostel till your bus or train/plain leaves. There are lockers and a luggage store available! There is also a laundry service, the staff does your laundry and you can pick it up in 24 hours!!! There are flyers and brochures free to take to inform you about travelling in Kuala Lumpur and around Maleisie. Internet is also available. There is a good communication with surrounding hostels so if the hostel is fully booked the staff will help you find an other hostel for that night. You can leave your big backs here and come back the next day or so. The dorm beds are allright, not very different compare other hostels around the world, trust me i have seen worse!! ; In comparing to Thailand Maleisia is expensive, but the hostel rates are decent and really worth my money!! Beautiful ambiance, comfy sofa, spacious double room, green courtyard,safe, homey and the most of all, a warm hearted lady owner is always there to share tips and travel information.Thank you for creating a HOME for us the budget travelers.We will be back with more friends soon.

In a group of four boys, just for a few days. Excellent location, food, shops and markets nearby as well as close to nightlife and KL tower (recommend). Great value for money, internet avialable. Best part = the owner suzy! she was fantastic we had never been there before and she was like our tour guide, told us all the things we needed to see and the things we didn't, r friendly. Will definately go back there when I next go to KL.
