found a big cockroach
By AllanM, 10/19/07
I stay in this hotel only for 2 nights. The 2nd night I found this big cockroach in my room. The staff sprayed my room with bug spray, but the cockroach disappeared and my window doesn't open, no way I was going to stay there with the cockroach and the smell of bug spray in my room. The staff guy told me to just turn on the a/c to get rid of the smell. I left that night and found a nicer hotel. Most of the staff wasn't very friendly either. The only one that was helpful was this girl that worked during the weekends. Also the single rooms are very tiny, and the walls are paper thin. I would recommend paying like 3000 yen more a night for a nicer hotel.

Great cheap place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/6/07
This place is just what a budget traveller to Tokyo needs. Its cheap, the rooms are basic but perfect for the traveller, and the recepetion desk in manned 24 hours with the most helpful people. Specifically Nori who gave us great advice on our stay in Tokyo. Its location in Jimbocho is great too as you are close to the subway and only a few stops to all the attractions. I give it a double thumbs up.

I am not very sure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/7/07
The price of this hotel is very cheap(which is good). The location of the place is also not bad. But the service is very poor and slow. It took about 3 hours just to get me a simple meal. The place is pretty clean. But not too clean. Some of the workers complain if you don;t tip them?
