Giorgio's House, Palermo

Believe me all the good reviews you read are true! When I read them before booking our stay, it sounded as though Giorgio was too good to be true. Friends warned me that his place was probably only for young back-packers. They said that I'd hate not having an ensuite bathroom. But I went ahead anyway. My friends were wrong! I didn't mind sharing a bathroom - there are two bathrooms and three bedrooms so I never had to wait. We had a large room, the whole place is spotless and Giorgio treats you like a welcomed guest whatever your age. Giorgio couldn't have done more for us. He picked us up at the station and showed us around town - without charge. He provides a splendid breakfast - my partner (and everyone else) raved about the sweet pastries. When Giorgio realised that I don't have a sweet tooth he provided plain croissants for me. He goes out of his way to look after his guests and all this is done with a cheery smile. We would certainly stay with Giorgio again.
