Excellent, no doubt.
By ,
The Sea Breeze Lodge is an absolutely top rate bed and breakfast to choose for a stay in galway. Freddy and Michelle were such helpful, warm, and amazing hosts. They were always available for suggestions and insider tips on seeing the city. They provide a comfortable room with a nice bathroom . The best part was the delicious breakfasts Freddy made for us that as an American I will probably dream about for the rest of my days. I am so glad I found this place from other reviewers and I am happy to echo that good sentiment here for others!

Had fabulous time!
By ,
13 of us – 3 families comprising of 6 adults and 7 children stayed for a week.We had a fantastic holiday. The accommodation / grounds / hosts / surrounding area were all fantastic. Freddy and Michelle were the perfect hosts and we were grateful for the excellent places they recommended for us to visit. Unfortunately, our week came to an end far too quickly. BUT, we do intend to return to Sea Breeze Lodge as soon as we can. Thank you to from the Daggett Family !

Great place and great owner
By ,
Freddy is a great host. The facilities are great, the food is just as good. While it's a but far from High Street it's close to the restaurants/recreation area. Highly recommend it.

Seabreeze is a marvelous B&B IN Galway!
By ,
I visited Galway for 5 days with my mom, and we fell in love with the Sea Breeze Lodge the minute we arrived. Freddy and Michelle (the owners) are some of the most welcoming and hospitable people that I have ever met. Upon our arrival, Freddy welcomed us with open arms and gave us some great recommendations on what we should do during our stay. This was incredibly helpful, considering that we had not done any research before arriving in Galway. Our room was perfect for us. It had a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was provided each morning, and it was fantastic! Fresh fruit, cereal, bread, pastries, and juices were all set up on a buffet each morning. There was also a made-to-order menu with 5 or 6 items on it that was made especially for you by a member of their staff. We tried everything on the menu at least once, and loved each of the items... especially the french toast! The B&B is a little bit far from the city center, but makes a very beautiful walk along the bay when the weather is nice. We walked everywhere we went, and it probably took us 30-45 minutes to get to the city center. However, if you take any of the offered tours, transportation will come pick you up at the B&B. I highly suggest the Connemara tour- it was really beautiful! I can't say enough good things about this B&B. My mom and I both loved our stay here, and were so blessed to have Freddy and Michelle as hosts during our stay. We enjoyed many great conversations with Freddy... he is such a caring and funny guy. I would recommend this B&B a thousand times to anyone traveling to Galway. You won't regret it!!

Wonderful, beyong expectation
By ,
Having selected Sea Breeze Lodge, Galway Bay from an Internet search and finding an inter-active webpage that gave me all the information I needed, knew we had found our 'Jewel' in Galway Bay in which to stay for four nights. Freddy, our host saw to our every need. Our tours were booked from the Lodge, taxis were called at our request and the bus stopped when we waived. The breakfast was a real feast, everything was fresh and delicious. We sat in a beautifully decorated solarium while enjoying the meal and admiring the garden. All the staff that we met were most considerate and could not do enough to make our stay a delight. The sheer luxury of our enormous room with beautiful drapes and bed linen was indulgence at the highest level. Well, the bed was comfort personified, it was really great to lie in bed at night and watch TV on the big plasma screen fitted in exactly the right position. The bathroom was a continuation of the luxury. Sea Breeze Lodge is the place at which we certainly plan to stay when we are again in Ireland.

Ecellent in every way!
By ,
The Sea-Breeze, comprising two properties operated under the same name and ownership, (of which we stayed at the newly acquired one), is welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a terrific stay. We had two rooms, both spotlessly clean; super-comfortable beds and good facilities. Enjoyable breakfasts were offered and eaten. We paid a nominal amount for larger room upgrades, (King/Garden View), which we would recommend taking. Tranquil area and good off-street parking. Good view of the Bay and a few minutes drive to the City. If we are back in the area we will stay here again without hesitation.

Ecellent accommodation
By ,
We have just returned from a romantic break having stayed at Sea Breeze Lodge based in Salthill, Galway, Ireland. Overlooking Galway Bay it is a wonderful location for a romantic break or a family holiday. The service levels provided along with the overall friendliness and professionalism of the staff are first class. As a seasoned adventurer / sightseer I can honestly say that I have never experienced such incredible service before. I have discovered a real treasure having stayed at the Sea Breeze Lodge and I intend to return during the summer months as the peace and tranquility combined with the service levels on offer at the Sea Breeze Lodge are unparalleled in my experience. The seafront, restaurants, amusement arcades, theaters, National aquarium along with guided tours among other things made for a fun packed yet relaxing stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge. I opted for the full Irish breakfast at the Sea Breeze Lodge which set me up nicely for the days activities. The decor along with the spacious rooms and relaxing atmosphere on offer at the Sea breeze Lodge meant that we couldn't wait to get back in the evenings having explored Salthill and Galway city during the daytime. The friendly and Polite staff and french owner at the Sea Breeze Lodge were on hand and available at all times in order to facilitate and to help organize professional guided tours to Connemara, Cliffs Of Moher and the Aran Islands. I have recommended the Sea Breeze Lodge to friends and family. It is an ideal place to stay for any couple looking to get away for a romantic break, families with young children or anyone wishing to experience the west of Ireland at it's best.

Really nice B&B
By ,
As Americans, in Ireland for the first time, and driving on the other side of the road for the first time- which takes a bit of adjustment (!)... it was great to find a B&B that was easy to locate, offered a warm and helpful welcome, and good local food. The beds are very comfortable- which is important after a long flight across the "pond". The staff are eager to please, and Freddy the french owner goes the extra mile wherever he can. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone!

“A Galway Treasure”
By ,
My husband & I stayed at the Sea Breeze Lodge for 4 nights in mid September. Our only regret is that we wish we had stayed longer! The property & surroundings of the Sea Breeze are absolutely Breathtaking. Everything is immaculately kept. We found the it to be a fantastic value. The rooms are very, very clean, spacious & nicely decorated. The large beds and the view of the bay were also a bonus. It was so nice to come back after a day of sightseeing! Don't miss Connemara, The Cliffs of moher and the boat trip to the Aran Islands. The city of Galway is also a very charming city. I say I almost shed a tear when we left was because you can tell Freddy puts his heart & soul into the Sea Breeze Lodge. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He is such a hard worker, but always takes the time to chat with & gets to know his guests. We really appreciated that. For this reason the Sea Breeze Lodge is by far our favorite place that we have EVER had the pleasure of staying. We can't wait to go back again someday soon! We said we'd make the trip back to Ireland specifically to stay at the Sea Breeze & next time it will be for at least a week, probably longer! 4 days wasn't nearly enough time! I can't say enough good things about the Sea Breeze, Freddy & Michelle! It's a treat that they open their home & welcome us with open arms!
