Convenience and comfort!
By Mel Bez, 6/2/11
First off, we arrived late, and not only did we receive a warm welcome at 11 pm, but Celia offered to drive us in to town so we could grab a pint. It was much closer to town than I realized. We could have easily walked in no more than 5 minutes. The bed was comfortable. The duvet was warm on a rainy weekend. Breakfast was plentiful, and lastly, with only one brief mention of that fact that we were there to celebrate my birthday, I woke to a cheerful happy birthday from Celia at breakfast and left with a birthday gift in hand. Literally, the definition of Irish hospitality.

The rooms were cozy, the breakfast the best and the O'shea family was friendly and professional.

Excellent value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/07
We stayed here for 3 nights in August 07. The accommodation while fairly basic (small shower room, no tea-making facilities in the room), provided excellent value and we'd definitely recommend it. The service from our hosts was quiet and unassuming, with a fantastic fresh, cooked breakfast each morning, and nothing too much bother. The only real drawback is a 10 minute walk to town. This isn't a problem unless it's pitch black dark and pouring with rain. Our advice, take a torch or something reflective. Other than that, go for it!

Best Irish Hospitality
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/07
Nicely located with a just about a five or ten minute walk to downtown area with shops and pubs. Parking is easy and we chose to leave the car in the lot, and felt it was quite safe there. The O'Shea family are the salt of the earth, and will take time to talk about their surroundings, things to do, or just the weather. We stayed for four days and never ran out of conversational materal, and the food day after day was outstanding. I even got to try my broken gaelic on young Mr. O'shea. He was kind enough to politly correct and help me with my pronunciation. Don't miss this B&B, a wonderful experience with just nice folks.

Going back in 2008
By Sandyman, 4/28/07
It was one of the best B&Bs we stayed at on our trip in 2/2007. We love the location and Paul O’Shea was most gracious and very accomadating. Breakfast was wonderful. We are planning to stay there on our 2008 trip.

Wonderful place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/18/06
This guesthouse offered us some of the best accommodation we have experienced in our travels. It was welcoming and comfortable. We slept wonderfully in the quiet surroundings. The breakfast was faultless, one of the best I've tasted!
