Holiday in Accra, Ghana
The staff are excellent and very pleasant. They made my stay very enjoyable and are very approachable and will help you understand their culture and help you out with any problems you may have. They treat you like family, which was very pleasing indeed.
The room was OK for a third world country, as u would expect. I stayed in room 4, which was a big room and it was comfortable.
Well the location was not convenient for me, but it might be for others as it is very quiet and out of the city. But if u plan to travel to Accra on many occasions the transport in Tantra Hill is limited to taxis and if u wont to travel cheaply the best way is by Tro-Tro, which is the name of their buses. It is a ten-minute walk and is very cheep around 50 cents usd to travel to Accra. But it might take anywhere from 45mins to 2 hours depending on the traffic but its a great way to meet and see the people and experience there culture.
Be aware of the taxi drives in Accra and surrounding areas, because when they see that u are white person they charge u more around 1/3 more and it should only cost u around 40-45 thousand cedis, which is around $4 to $4.50 usd. This is what it should cost u travelling from Tanta Hill to Accra. Or if u have money to burn u can hire a car for around $50usd per day. Hope you have a great holiday in Ghana.
