Stuck in the middle of paradise...
Beautiful, outof the way place with a dorm-like vibe I stayed in the lodge with 12 other yound travelers-I was alone).
The most remote, beautiful place I've been to-your floors are made of soft white sand, free snorkeling, and the most gorgeous sunsets at night...great fish to look at underwater.
Not the place for people who want to be pampered. You get 3 meals per day (which aren't bad) and you can buy fresh water and drinks. There is no ice/freezer service so if you want a frosty drink-here isn't the place to get one.
Getting off of the island was almost a big problem-the staff are VERY laid back (bula time) about when the 6 passenger plane will be leaving to take you to Nadi. I had a very large suitcase which almost forced me to stay! It counted as a person-thank goodness there were 5 people for the plane so my luggage and I could both leave! If you MUST know your full itinerary, you may flip out here :)
But it was so beautiful and I got the opportunity to meet several VERY nice people from all over the world and made great friends.
Gorgeous, inexpensive place. I will spring for the private bure next time!
