Not one of our most pleasant experiences!
By ,
On our travels to Cairo we booked in to stay at what looked to be a nice bed and breakfast in a good location for a reasonable price compared to other accommodation in the area. On arrival the host (Moha) seemed pleasant enough and helped us to our room. We where surprised to find the room in less than an acceptable condition and where disappointed at the misleading online photos. The room smelt unpleasant and the toilet and cleaning area where very dirty and ordinary. We where due to stay 4 days but checked out after two. I believe you get what you pay for and don't have hugely high expectations but I was very disappointed with Nile view. As travellers we meet alot of people and there isn't much that we can't handle but I would advise any female travellers or women to approach the host with caution and be a little apprehensive. My partner was very uncomfortable with him and his conduct towards her when I wasn't present, so much so that we left early. Overall not a good experience and I would suggest further investigation before even considering staying here.

Good if you are travelling alone and female
By ,
The price was inexpensive, Ruth and Mohammed are very friendly and helpful, the a/c is powerful, it feels like having own apt with roommates, grocery store is a brief taxi ride, located near a really peaceful suburb, golds gym not too far away, feel safe, clean, very comfortable for extended stays, ruth and mohammed speak english and help if you are unfamiliar with culture and customs, truly one of my favorite places and cities in egypt

An oasis in a busy city!
By ,
We recently stayed at Nileview Bed and Breakfast and would highly recommend it! Ruth and Mohammed are so welcoming and helped to make our stay very special. Mohammed cooks a yummy breakfast which you can eat as you admire the wonderful views. The rooms are immaculate, fruit basket, tv, coffee making facilities etc Mohammed can organise onward travel and drives/tour guides. Enjoy, we did!
