Nightmare hostel

Warning! Do not visit this hostel - there are plenty of good cheap hostels in
Krumlov who will not try to extort extra money out of you or order you to leave in
the night AFTER YOU HAVE PAID! THe owners insist on the right to refuse entry to
anyone they wish (our crime was having a 2 year old daughter) and will call the
police to make this happen. Its cheap but its not worth it.I, my wife and 2 year-old daughter were kicked out of this hotel-Pension Merlin in the middle of the night when most of the Hostel and Pension reception already closed.
We were told upon paying the balance, that we would have to pay extra for our daughter by the receptionist. Because such an extra cost was not mentioned by the booking agency and my daughter is too young to sleep alone thus we did not book a three bed room we refused to pay the extra and our payment at the normal rate was accepted. That evening when we arrived back at our accommodation we were falsely accused of damaging the property and told to leave. It is really unpleasant especially you hear the owner shouting: you foreigners come to our country

My daughter was so scared and had very bad sleep at that night.
