Miss Sophie shows hostels how it should be done!

The closest a hostel can get to being a luxury hotel - absolutely the best value for money in an area that has hotel Ibis and Novotel down the street. Our room was gorgeous and well kept, with an ensuite bath. The hostel common area easily rivals any city lounge you can think of for style and atmosphere, plus it's got a kitchen, and a DVD library. The staff are available round-the-clock for advice on local hotspots and public transit. Miss Sophie's has all that, and thoughtful features for travellers like luggage lockers, free internet terminals and transit tickets for sale at the reception. One gripe; while it's close to the Metro station, it's a 20-minute walk to the Old Town Square. Other than that, if it were up to me, there would be a Miss Sophie's in every city.
