Cabinas Vista Al Golfo, Sierra

A short walk from downtown Santa Elena, this B&B was an excellent find. The rooms are clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and the communal kitchen is great. Truly enjoyed our stay there!

This hotel has the most amazing view of the Pacific Ocean from atop the mountains of Costa Rica. The owners are very kind and gracious, and they have a kitchen for their guests right out on the veranda, overlooking the view. It's a delightful place to meet other travelers from around the world, and share spontaneous meals with them. The hotel will also arrange horseback riding, zip line flying, trips into the preserve with guides, and more. There are great little shops, restaurants, museums, and a beautiful outdoor theater shaped like a bromeliad in the delightful town of Santa Elena... which sits just below the Monteverde Cloud Rainforest, where scientists and students gather to study and further preserve this protected region.
