I don't recommend it
I`m from Argentina and I satyed at the hostel last february 2008. I thought it was a nice hostel, but we had some inconveniences and no one would resolve them.
When we first arrive, no one could find our reservation. After an hour, they find it. They kept calling other people from the hostel to find it. Then, they wouldn't even give us some hot water. Hot water wasn't working in our floor as long as we stayed there, and no one would care. We stayed in a room without key. Apparently the key was lost before we got there and we had to ask a millon times for the key everytime we need it, and we had to give it back as soon as possible. Service was awful. There wasn't any lockers as they say there are. The same people who was at the bar, was in change of solving guests problems. They couldn't do both. Breakfast didn't actually have everything you said it would, and it was expensive.
The only good thing about your hostel is the place where its located, However, Brugge is a small city, and everyplace was near anyway.
I would say the bar is the most important thing for them. There is nothing so great about it and you can still visit it even if you aren't staying at the hostel. I modestly think tey can't handle both, bar and hostel, at the same time.
Also, the restaurant they have next to the hostel is way too expensive.
