Maggies Beach House, West Point

I really enjoyed this place to stay as it has the homely feeling to it... i was only there for a couple of weeks however it treated me as if i lived there.. If you are thinking about staying there i would say GO FOR IT, FANTASTIC STAY FOR HOW MUCH YOU PAY!!! Maggies Beach house has fantastic Facilitiessuch as Internet, lounge/TV room,air conditioned dorms, public phones, in ground pool, informative tour desk. Getting to Maggies Beach House is a breeze. You just need to take on of the 15 ferries departing Townsville every day. When you get to Magnetic Island, catch the public bus. This only costs a small amount, the public bus service happens to be on your side as it drops you off tothe front door! its aslo very close to the beach in fact across the road..
